European Master of Arts in Public Relations |
|
|
Public relations is an expanding discipline throughout Europe and anyone wishing to be part of this growth must develop their own skills and experience. This is why a number of European universities and institutes of higher education have founded a European Master of Arts (MA) in Public Relations (MARPE): ensuring excellence in Public Relations education and research throughout Europe.
MARPE is a comprehensive educational programme which includes two semesters of highly specialised courses, a commercial or organisational internship and a final dissertation - all taught in two different European countries.
The courses can be followed in one of three languages: English, German or French.
This project is unique in its structure, aims and educational objectives. The programme aims to expand students' understanding of public relations and revolves around one core question: how is public relations perceived and practised in Europe.
This approach is a positive development for public relations education in Europe. The programme forms the basis of creative co-operation across international educational boundaries. The philosophy of the programme is to promote international understanding of the discipline in order to match the growing integration found in business and politics in today's Europe.
